Instructions for Aroma-Sedona aroma jar use:

The essential oils contained in the Aroma-Sedona jars evaporate if left fully
open.

To get the longest life out of your Aroma-Sedona jar, unscrew the top and leave
it on, but slightly askew.  If you are using an aroma for night time therapy, close
the jar during the day.
Always close the jar tightly when not in use.
